The Purchasing Section is responsible for ensuring that the City of Hamilton receives the best value for tax dollars spent. We are continuously searching for new sources of supply in order to secure the best products and services at the most competitive prices.

Below is a link to the Bidders Application Form, which is to be completed online. After completing all fields, click on the Submit icon and your company name will be added to our database. If you require assistance, or should any of the information on this form subsequently change it is the responsibility of the applicant to notify the City by email at purchasing@hamilton.ca.

The City of Hamilton intends to make reasonable efforts to inform all registered bidders of relevant bid opportunities, but shall not be liable for any failure to do so.  Bidders that provide a fax number upon registration are agreeing to receive faxed Notifications of any relevant bid opportunities.  All bid opportunities are posted on our website.  Please be sure to check the website regularly to avoid missing an opportunity to bid for City business.

The collection, use and disclosure of personal information is governed by the Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act, R.S.O. 1990, c.M. 56.
