Environmental Purchasing
The City of Hamilton is committed to procure goods and/or services with due regard to the preservation of the natural environment and to encourage the use of "environmentally friendly" products and services, as supported by the Pollution Prevention Committee.
Any product or service designed to reduce environmental impact must have the performance claim verified by ETV Canada, an agency of Environment Canada in order to qualify for consideration by the City of Hamilton.
