Hamilton Emergency Services - EMS welcomes the opportunity to participate in your community event and educate the public in the many facets of pre-hospital emergency medicine. Our experienced paramedics enjoy sharing their expertise and knowledge with others to potentially help save lives.

Press Conference Announcing Public Access Defibrillation Program
On October 30, 2007, Hamilton Emergency Services - EMS announced the launch of Hamilton's Public Access Defibrillation program that has automated external defibrillators installed in many City owned facilities throughout Hamilton.
These life saving devices have been installed in City owned facilities such as Ivor Wynne Stadium, Copps Coliseum as well as our local arenas, recreation centres and seniors centres.
This program, greatly increases the chances of someone surviving a sudden cardiac arrest while in a City owned facility.
