Monthly Reports

Each month the Building Services Division produces two downloadable PDF monthly reports. These reports provide access to construction summaries and statistics of monthly Building & Demolition permit activity within the City of Hamilton for up to the past 5 years. The reports are the Summary Report and Statistical Report. The Summary Report provide historical and comparative information, while the Statistical Report provide data in the form required by Statistics Canada and an audit list of all permits issued for the month. A Year-End report of annual totals is included within the December Summary Report of each year. Please note, incorporation of summaries and statistics for the former municipalities of Ancaster, Dundas, Flamborough, Glanbrook, Hamilton proper and Stoney Creek commenced January 1st, 2001. To accommodate area studies, the Statistical reports also include an identifier to associate the construction locations to the former areas.

Since the inaugural year of 1999 for the delivery of this electronic medium, the response has been more than favourable to maintaining this service. The Building Services Division continues to strive in providing effective, beneficial and useable service for the public and industry.
