Business Facilitation
What is Business Faciltation?
Business Facilitation will help you understand what municipal processes you will need to undertake based on your specific business and building (new or existing). A Business Facilitator will let you know:
-
what applications you need to submit;
-
how much it will cost;
-
how long it will take; and
-
who else you need to speak with.
Why should businesses use this service?
So you understand what you need to do, how much you will have to pay and how long it will take BEFORE you begin the process (i.e. sign a lease or purchase a property). This service is in place to help businesses save time and money; make informed decisions and access the right resources and contacts so they can open or expand faster and more efficiently.
Can I schedule a meeting?
Yes, you can email or call Ken, Shannah or Joe (contact info top right corner of this page). Businesses can also drop in to the ground floor of City Hall and meet with one of the Business Facilitators (right next to Country Style). Business Facilitators are part of the One-Stop for Business, which is open Monday - Friday (8:30am - 4:30pm).
