The mid and year end reports reveal the respective maps and tables for the City of Hamilton's urban residential subdivision and condominium developments by both the community and ward areas. Each subdivision or condominium follows a 3 stage process:
- First Stage: Pending is assigned when a subdivision or condominium application is submitted to the City.
- Second Stage: Draft Approved occurs when the subdivision or condominium plan satisfies all the criteria set by the City. Conditions are set by the City and other parties (such as Bell Canada and Canada Post).
- Third Stage: Once all conditions set in the second stage are met, the City gives Final Approval to the plan. The plan is then sent to the Land Registry Official of Ontario to be officially registered by the Province.
The associated urban residential subdivision maps outline all active subdivisions, whether pending or draft approved, and registered plans by plan number. Their respective tables identify the individual urban subdivisions by plan number, plan name, dwelling type and estimated total units.
