THE STUDY
The City of Hamilton has initiated a Schedule C (Phase 3 & 4) Municipal Class Environmental Assessment (EA) process to examine improvements to Binbrook Road and Regional Road 56. The purpose of this study is to identify the land required for the road and intersection improvements while taking into consideration future growth, the historic nature of Binbrook, safety, and calming traffic. This study is building on the recommendations of the Binbrook Village Secondary Plan and the recommendations of the Binbrook Village Transportation Master Plan (June 2000).
