THE PROJECT
Seabreeze Park is a proposed Neighbourhood Park 1.0ha/2.5ac. in size located in Ward 11 on Seabreeze Crescent and Whitefish Crescent between Glover Road and McNeily Road north of the QEW. The City recently acquired this property in January of 2009 for park development purposes. Funding was approved by Council in the 2010 Capital Budget to proceed with design works, and in the 2011 Capital Budget monies were received to prepare contract documents, tender and construct the park. The tender was awarded in September, and construction has already commenced.

The proposed park development will show-case accessible junior and senior play structures and swings, pavilion/sunshelter, multi-purpose court (ball hockey and basketball), asphalt walkways, lighting (playstructure and pavilion), site grading, sodding, tree planting and site furniture.
