THE STUDY
The The Hamilton Conservation Authority, in partnership with City of Hamilton, has commenced a Flood and Erosion Study for the Stoney Creek and the Battlefield Creek located in the Community of Stoney Creek. The study is being undertaken in accordance with Conservation Ontario’s Class Environmental Assessment for Remedial Flood and Erosion Control Projects. This project is being considered in order to provide Flood and Erosion Control for the subject waterways, which currently are at risk.

THE PROCESS
A key component of the study will be consultation with interested stakeholders (public and regulatory agencies).
