The City of Hamilton has initiated the Class Environmental Assessment (EA) process to assess a fully accessible pedestrian connection between the Strathcona Neighbourhood and the Waterfront Trail.
The Study Area
The subject lands are located along the northern edge of the Strathcona Neighbourhood (see map).
The Process
This project is currently being planned as a ‘Schedule C’ process as defined in the Municipal Engineers Association, Municipal Class Environmental Assessment document (June 2000, as amended in 2007).
