Aerial spray area maps
The City of Hamilton's Public Works Department, Hamilton Conservation Authority and the Royal Botanical Gardens (RBG) will be conducting the aerial spray application of the biological pesticide Btk over areas of Ancaster, Flamborough, Dundas, Glanbrook and West Hamilton including parts of the Dundas Valley and Cootes Paradise. The City of Burlington and Conservation Halton will also be conducting aerial spraying of areas that are adjacent to the City of Hamilton.
The following maps provide an overview of the approved spray areas across the Hamilton and surrounding areas:
Public Works’ Forestry & Horticulture Section will implement an aerial spray control method which should bring the population of gypsy moth larvae down to levels that reduce the probability of tree mortality. The 2008 aerial spray areas are as follows:

- Ancaster
- West Hamilton
- Flamborough
- Glanbrook
