Alexander Park, a popular park located beside Prince Philip School, has a hardball field, 2 softball fields, a play structure, swings, and a wading pool with a spray fountain. The accessible washrooms are open during games by the Alexander Minor Baseball Association.

This neighbourhood park has a play structure, spray pad, and park shelter.
Amberly Park

This quiet park has a softball diamond and picnic tables.
Ancaster Community Centre
385 Jerseyville Road West by Martin Road, Ancaster.
This park boasts many sports fields, including a lit hardball field, a lit softball field, and a lit regulation-sized soccer field, but also contains a half basketball court, an accessible play structure, and swings. There are washrooms in the centre of the park, parking by the Community Centre, and a natural area at the northern edge.
Ancaster Heights Park

Ancaster Heights Park is a neighbourhood park with a play structure.
Ancaster Senior Achievement Centre
622 Alberton Road by Wilson Street, Ancaster.
The park around the Senior Centre is used mainly by those out for a stroll. Parking is available outside the Centre and washrooms inside.
Andrew Warburton Memorial Park
199 Tragina Avenue North by Britannia Avenue.
Andrew Warburton Memorial Park was named after a neighbourhood child who died in 1986. This park has a playground, spray pad, wading pool, basketball court, and a shelter.
Armes Lookout
633 Mountain Brow Blvd. by Ellsworth Drive.
Armes Lookout is located on the edge of the Escarpment, and looks out over King's Forest Golf Course. There is a small parking area.
Arrowhon Natural Area
165 Boulding Avenue by Laurendale Avenue, Waterdown.
This pretty park is a natural area with a retention pond.
Austin Park
36 Dartford Place between Dartford and Austin Drive.
Austin Park has two play structures, swings, and a large open space for children to play.

Balfour Park
406 Scenic Drive.
Balfour Park was developed on a narrow strip of land on Scenic Drive at the edge of the escarpment. It consists of a walkway/sidewalk and a grass area.
Battlefield Park
77 King Street West at Centennial Parkway South, Stoney Creek, the site of the Battle of Stoney Creek in 1813.
Battlefield Park is a designated historical site. Parts of the structure of the Museum date back to the 18th century. A Monument was added to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Battle of Stoney Creek, and, annually, battles are re-enacted on the grounds. More information is available at the Battlefield House Museum website.
Bayfront Park
200 Harbour Front Drive by Bay Street.
Bayfront Park boasts a number of features perfectly suited to a waterfront setting, including an extensive asphalt pathway; a lower shoreline walk; naturalized areas of shrubs, trees, and wildflowers; a public boat launch; numerous benches and picnic tables; and a natural grass amphitheatre. The park's upper plateau, an expansive lawn area, makes it an ideal location for special events. It is linked to Pier 4 Park by Macassa Bay Walkway.
Bayview Park

Bayview Park has a small soccer field, softball field, play structure, swings, a basketball backboard and hoop, and parking.
Bayview Playground

Belview Park

Bennetto Park / Rec. Centre

Bennetto Park has a recreation centre, tennis court, basketball court, playground, and swings. It is adjacent to Bennetto Senior Public School. A new play structure was installed in 1996.
Berrisfield Park

Berrisfield Park is a neighbourhood park geared toward young children. It has an accessible play structure, swings, spray pad, sun shelter, baseball back stop, and open space.
Beulah Park

Beulah Park is a small park near the escarpment in southwest Hamilton and has a playground, picnic tables, benches, and open space.
Beverly Community Park
680 Hwy 8, Rockton, by the Rockton Berry Farm.
Beverly Community Park is home to the Beverly Community Centre, football fields, regulation-sized soccer fields, softball fields, and tennis courts. Also available is play equipment, a covered shelter, and picnic tables.
Bill Foley Parkette
41 Mountain Brow Blvd. between Concession St. and Upper Ottawa.
Bill Foley Parkette is a lookout area that offers a wonderful view of the central east area of the city. Seating and parking are provided.
Billy Sherring Park
1530 Upper Sherman Avenue, south of Stone Church Road East.
Named after Hamilton's William Sherring, one of Canada's great marathon runners. The Neighbour to Neighbour Garden Centre is located here, as well as an accessible play structure, swings, a park shelter, a large spray pad, soccer fields, and a basketball court.
Binbrook Park

Binbrook Park contains a play structure and swings.
Birch Avenue Park

Birch Avenue Park is a passive park developed underneath the hydro corridor that runs down Birch Avenue.
Birge Park

Bobby Kerr Park
100 Reno Avenue at Palmer Road.
Bobby Kerr Park has facilities for a variety of sports, as well as a paved pathway from the street to playground for wheel chair accessibility. The park was named for Robert Kerr, a world class sprinter.
Brampton Street Park
110 Mead Ave., Hamilton.
This property is vacant land that the City has acquired for a park. It is part woodlot and part grass.
Brian Timmis Parkette
75 Balsam Avenue North.
This typical passive parkette, is situated on the corner of Balsam and Cannon, adjacent to Brian Timmis Stadium's parking lot, and is part of the Ivor Wynne Stadium Complex.
Brockhouse Park

This small park has benches and shrub beds.
Broughton East Park
990 Rymal Road East.
Currently, only the northeast corner of Broughton East Park has been developed. It has 2 playgrounds (one with swings and 2 play structures), a multi-purpose court, a lit asphalt walkway, a sunshelter, spray pad, concrete block building, and benches.
Broughton West Park

Bruce Park

Bruce Park is a neighbourhood park with a variety of features, including two half basketball courts, ball diamonds, a creative play structure, and swings.
Bruleville Nature Park

Bruleville Nature Park is a large woodlot with several trails running through it. It is surrounded by a residential development.
Bruleville Neighbourhood Park

Bruleville Neighbourhood Park was developed primarily for children. The playground provides a wide variety of activities. The property is adjacent to Cardinal Heights Public School.
Bryna Park
16 Bryna Avenue.
Bryna Park is a small park with two new play structures and swings installed in 2011, and a half basketball court. The park is fenced in with park lighting in place and is a relatively good park for small children.
Buchanan Park
111 Columbia Drive by Stacey and Laurier Avenues.
Buchanan Park is a sports park with several diamonds and a playground with two play structures and swings.
Bullock's Corners
40 Park Avenue, Greensville.
Bullock's Corners Park has two softball fields and three lit tennis courts operated by the Hilltop Tennis Club. There are washrooms in the concession building, and parking available. There are also swings and playground equipment on the premises.
Bumble Bee Park
224 Pleasant Avenue, Dundas.
This small park has shrub beds and a walkway leading to the Hamilton-Brantford Rail Trail.
Burkholder Park
478 East 25th Street by Abbot Drive.
Burkholder Park was developed on a plateau, sloping from west to east across the site, adjacent to Burkholder Drive Public School. The playground is located on the north side of the park; the south side of the park is open space.

Captain Cornelius Park
180 Limeridge Road West.
Captain Cornelius Park is part sports park and part natural park. It is adjacent to Westview Public School and St. Jerome Separate School and is also near the Westmount Recreation Centre. There are soccer fields in the west, a natural area in the centre, and in the south east there is a playground with two play structures, swings and spring toys that were installed in 2003.
Carlisle Community Centre
1496 Centre Road, Carlisle.
Features include tennis courts, softball fields, and play equipment. Parking and washroom facilities are available.
Carlisle Memorial Park
1493 Centre Road, Carlisle.
Carlisle Memorial Park is beside Carlisle Community Centre Park, has a softball field, a new play structure and some play equipment.
Carluke Hall

This quiet park is suitable for strolling and enjoying the scenery, although there is some independent play equipment located within the park. Parking and washroom facilities are available in the community centre.
Carpenter Neighbourhood Park

Carpenter Neighbourhood Park features an accessible play structure and swings.
Carter Park

Carter Park offers a variety of facilities for children and teens, including a playground, spray pad, basketball / multi-purpose court, and t-ball field, as well as walkways and benches for passive recreation. It is adjacent to Central Memorial Recreation Centre.
Cascades Park

This small family-friendly park contains a play structure.
Cathedral Park

Cathedral Park is located across the street from Christ the King Cathedral between King W. and Main W. It has a field house, cricket pitch, and parking lot, as well as a combined sewage overflow tank. It is a permanent home field for cricket. Washrooms and parking available.
Cenotaph Park
324 Highway #8, near Ellington Avenue, Stoney Creek.
Cenotaph Park is home to a war memorial statue.
Centennial Park

This neighbourhood park has shrub beds and many memorial plaques.
Centennial Heights Park
12 Karendale Crescent, Freelton.
Centennial Heights Park is an active park with several soccer fields, a softball field, two new play structures, play equipment, picnic tables, a park shelter, parking, and washrooms.
Central Park

Central Park offers a variety of activities for all ages. It has an accessible play structure, ball diamond, tennis courts, multi-purpose court, spray pad, shelter, asphalt pathways, and benches.
Century Street Park

Century Street Park is a small, passive area consisting of grass and shrub beds.
Chappel East Park #1

Chappel East Park #1 is currently undeveloped.
Chedoke Radial Trail
Trail begins at Hillcrest Ave. (at Beulah) and runs southwest across the Chedoke Golf Course, traversing the Mountain and ending at Scenic Park. The Chedoke Radial Trail is a bicycle & pedestrian pathway approximately 2.7 kilometres long.
Chegwin Park
27 Chegwin Street, Dundas.
Chegwin Park has a natural area and a walking pathway that leads over a stream. This park is currently Leash-Free.
Cherry Heights Park
90 Stoney Brook Drive, Stoney Creek.
Cherry Heights Park has 2 soccer fields, 2 softball fields, play equipment, swings, and a walkway.
Churchill Park
199 Glen Road by Parkside Drive.
Churchill Park is a large park developed on land belonging to the Royal Botanical Gardens. It offers several activities, including lawn bowling, soccer and softball fields, a spray pad, and a playground with an accessible play structure.
Churchill Gardens and Aviary
145 Cline Avenue North by Marion Street North.
This property, once the home of the Royal Botanical Gardens' Teaching Garden, includes community garden plots and houses the aviary formerly kept at Dundurn Park. It is located on Royal Botanical Gardens land near Cootes Paradise and is adjacent to Churchill Park (Hours of operation: 8am to 8pm, 7 days a week).
Cinema Park
799 Golf Links Road, beside Silvercity Theatres and across from Kitty Murray Road. Currently home to a Free-Running Leash-Free Dog area.
Claremont Access Parkettes
One parkette is located at the beginning of the Claremont Access at Wellington S.; the other parkette is located along the Claremont Access at Victoria S. and Hunter St. E.
Cliffview Park
26 Upper Paradise Road by Scenic Drive.
Cliffview Park is located at the edge of the escarpment on the west side of the Mountain. There is a parking area on the south edge of the park and stairs down the escarpment leading to the Chedoke Golf Course (the Chedoke Radial Trail can also be accessed from these stairs). The lookout area on the northwest edge provides a view of the Chedoke Golf Course, the western edge of the city, and the town of Dundas.
Cline Park
66 Pinewoods Drive, Stoney Creek.
Cline Park is a neighbourhood park with a soccer field, softball field, play equipment, paved walkways with lighting, and parking.
Cochrane Parkette
The park is located at the corner of Cochrane Road and Lawrence Road.
Cochrane Park is a very small piece of land with a few small shrubs, trees, and a bench.
Colquhoun Park
20 Leslie Avenue by Scenic Drive and West 23rd Street.
Colquhoun Park is a large sports park with ball diamonds and open space.
Community Park
37 King Street West, Stoney Creek (east of Battlefield Park).
Currently under construction. New recreation centre and play equipment coming in 2012.
Concession / Upper Sherman
401 Upper Sherman Ave.
These properties on Upper Sherman consist of a long boulevard between Concession and Crockett Streets, a parkette-sized parcel at the corner of Upper Sherman and Crockett, and a triangular traffic island.
Confederation Park - Van Wagner's Beach
Located adjacent to the Hamilton Harbour industrial area.
The park has quality recreational and dining facilities such as Wild Waterworks, Barangas Restaurant, the Lakeland Centre and Pool, and the mini-golf course at Adventure Village. The Park's proximity to the QEW and its large population base in the Golden Horseshoe area give it potential as a tourism magnet and for increased patronage.
Copetown Lion's Park
1950 Governor's Road, 1/2 km East of Hwy 52, Dundas.
Copetown Lion's Park has a Community Centre, softball fields, picnic tables, play structures, swings and a pavilion. Parking and washrooms are available.
Corktown Park
175 Ferguson Avenue South.
Features include a creative play area with swings, pathways, benches, trees, a small building containing a sun shelter and washrooms, a multi-purpose court flanked by three junior soccer fields, and a baseball field on the east side of the third soccer field. The park also forms a connection to the trail network, and completes the Ferguson Avenue link between the Escarpment and the Harbour.
Corman Park
23 Teak Street by Oakridge Drive, Stoney Creek.
Corman Park has 2 public bocce courts, a soccer field, play equipment with swings, and a basketball court.
Coronation Park
13 Macklin Street North.
Coronation Park is a bowl-shaped park with a woodlot on its slopes. It has a playground, swimming and wading pools, and picnic areas, as well as an arena.
Courtcliffe Park
159 Carlisle Road by Hwy 6, Waterdown.
Courtcliffe Park is a naturalized area with streams, bridges, walkways and trails. There are 4 middle-sized soccer fields and 1 mini soccer field in the park, as well as parking. This park also contains swings, and non-traditional play equipment designed for 5-12 year olds, although 9-14 year olds find it particularly attractive because it challenges them.
Crerar Neighbourhood Park

The park has a playlot with swings, two climbers and a slide.
Cumberland Tot Lot
280 Cumberland Avenue.
It is located behind houses on Cumberland Ave, under the escarpment and West of Gage Park.

This park is a small, passive, somewhat triangular piece of land located at the juncture of Gary and Dalewood Avenues.
Dean Vista Parkette

A woodlot is located at the front of the park and a retention pond is situated at the rear of the property.
Delottinville Park

This park is not yet developed. There is a proposed soccer field to be developed in this park.
Delta Park

Delta Park is a passive park located near Gage Park at the "delta" formed by Main St. E., King St. E., and Rosslyn Ave.
Dewitt Park

Dewitt Park has some play equipment, a play structure, swings, a half basketball court, benches, and a horseshoe pitch.

Dieppe Veteran's Memorial Park

This commemorative memorial park stands in tribute to the Canadian soldiers who faught in this battle.
Dofasco Property
276 Beach Road.
This property was donated to the City for park purposes by Dofasco Inc., which used the site as green space. It contains swings, a slide, a giant see-saw and benches.
Dover Park
75 Nash Road South.
Dover Park is adjacent to St. David's Separate School and Sir Issac Brock Public School. It has a soccer field, which is geared to older leagues, and a few trees.
Dr. William Bethune Park
1389 Upper James Street.
Dr. William Bethune Park has a creative play area, the Walker Outdoor Pool, Trieste Bocce Club, and several baseball diamonds.
Dundas Driving Park
71 Cross Street, Dundas.
Dundas Driving Park is a popular sports park with several softball fields, a bandshell, swings, independent play equipment such as climbers and slides, a wading pool with spray pad, an accessible play structure, an outdoor ice rink, and sheltered picnic areas. Washrooms and parking is available.
Dundurn Park
600 York Boulevard.
Dundurn Park is a historical park and the former home of Sir Allan MacNab. The property consists of Dundurn Castle, the Hamilton Military Museum, the Coach House Restaurant, and the Cockpit Theatre. The park overlooks Hamilton Harbour and is adjacent to Harvey Park and Dundurn Parkette.
Dundurn Parkette

This parkette is adjacent to Dundurn Park on York Blvd. It is basically flat, except for a raised shrub bed in the centre. It has a few benches, a small creative play structure, swings and spring toys.
Durand Park

Durand Park has open space in the south, a shaded playground with two play structures and swings, and a shrub bed in the north.

Eastdale Park

Eastdale Park has a soccer field, 2 softball fields, a play structure, swings, and a public Bocce court where membership is required. A private Lawn Bowling facility also runs at the park.
Eastmount Park
115 East 26th Street.
Eastmount Park has ball diamonds, an accessible play structure, swings, spring toys, a park shelter, spray pad, and open space. The Eastmount Recreation Centre is situated on the west side of the grounds, and the park is adjacent to Eastmount Park Public School.
Eastwood Park

Eastwood Park is a large park in the north end of the city. It provides the community with a variety of facilities, including softball and soccer fields, a basketball court, multi-purpose court, an accessible creative play structure, spray pad, asphalt pathways, and a sun shelter / washroom / changeroom building. A combined sewer overflow tank is located beneath the park, and is designed to improve the water quality of Hamilton Harbour. Eastwood Arena is located in the southwest corner of the park.

Edgelake Park is a quiet neighbourhood park with a creative play structure, swings, a basketball and tennis court, a paved lit walkway, a creek and a woodlot.
Edwards Park

Fay Avenue Park is a relatively large neighbourhood park with some playground equipment and passive areas.

Ferris Park has a public Bocce court where memberships are required, a soccer field, play structure, swings, spring toys, and a pathway which goes through a natural area in the centre of the park. Parking is available.
