The purpose of the Hamilton Children’s Water Festival is to ensure that students learn to respect water and the environment while having fun. The Festival brings together educators, government, industry and community representatives to educate children about the water conservation, source protection, water technology, the value of water and water protection.

You and your students are invited to attend one day of the annual Hamilton Children’s Water Festival in May. The Children’s Water Festival will have 30 hands-on educational activities that support the Ontario Curriculum including the 2007 Ontario Science and Technology curriculum.
• This event is totally free to you and your students and your adult supervisors this due to the gracious donations of the sponsors and partners • Busing and lunch are included for all students, teachers and parent volunteers • Spaces are limited • First come first serve basis
Please Note:
• Open to Grade 4 or 4/5 split classes from Hamilton schools only • A minimum of 1 adult/parent supervisor per 10 students is required • Registration is not open to the general public
Before the event
• Grade 4 teachers must register their class for the festival • Teachers will need to attend a “Teacher Orientation Session” which will be held at the Nicholas Mancini Centre on Thursday May 2nd, 2013 from 4-5 p.m.
