When to Apply

Close Date:  Friday, January 27, 2012                                               

• legally entitled to work in Canada as a student
• minimum legal age requirement is 14, however, for positions relating to construction related activities, the minimum age requirement is 16
• in possession of a Social Insurance Number (card) at time of hire
• at time of this application, you are currently enrolled in a secondary or post-secondary educational institution, or institution of higher learning, on a full-time basis for the 2011/2012 school year, returning to full time studies in 2012/2013
  
  OR
• at time of this application, you are currently enrolled in Grade 12 for 1 (one) semester only and have full intentions of applying to full time studies in the fall of 2012
• returning summer students must have held a summer student position in 2011 and received a favourable re-hire status on their end of season performance evaluation (information will be verified at time of consideration)

Student Identification Verification

Students will be required to produce valid/current student identification at various points throughout the process and again, present the original documents at the mandatory orientation session.  

Please ensure your resume reflects your current student status including the name of the educational institution and the years of education completed.

*Note - In cases where verification is unclear, the hiring manager may require further documentation from the Office of the Registrar.
