Blue boxes and recycling are picked up every week. You can put out as many blue boxes as you need to. Your recycling must be placed at the curb in front of your property between 7:00 p.m. on the evening before and 7:00 a.m. on the morning of your scheduled waste collection day.

Put all your bottles, cans and jars into one blue box, and put all your paper and cardboard into a different blue box. Throw the items loosely into the blue box - don't bag it!

Pick-up another blue box

If you need another blue box, there is no charge to pick one up at one of the following locations. You must bring identification with you to get a blue box.

Acceptable containers for recyclables are:

  • A blue box provided by the City.
  • A plastic receptacle comparable in weight and dimensions to a blue box provided by the City.
  • A securely tied non-returnable clear or translucent plastic bag.
