MacNab Street Transit Terminal

The HSR is looking forward to the unveiling of the new MacNab Street Transit Terminal on Sunday, January 2, 2011. The Modern platforms and state-of-the-art local transit passenger terminal building will provide customers with an attractive and convenient downtown facility that helps the City of Hamilton move closer towards the Transportation Master Plan long-term target of doubling transit ridership.

The following routes will all re-locate from Gore Park to MacNab St. Routes operating from the Go Centre terminal will remain there.

This new terminal is fully accessible with a climate-controlled passenger waiting room. There are canopiedplatforms with benches featuring built-in snow/ice control as a safety measure. You will also notice enhanced pedestrianlighting, large overhead signage and arrival/departure time information. The terminal will be beautifully landscaped andwill include green roofs on the structure.
