Labour Day to June 30:
Tuesday to Sunday: 12 - 4 pm

July 1 to Labour Day:
Tuesday to Sunday: 11 am - 4 pm

Note: Last tour starts at 4 pm

Boxing Day and New Year's Day)

Depending on availability, we will gladly
open outside of regular hours for
pre-booked groups.

Dundurn Castle is located on a height of land known as Burlington Heights. During the War of 1812, the British Army established a military post at the site. Sir Allan MacNab later incorporated elements of the post into the construction of Dundurn Castle during the 1830's.



War of 1812 Bicentennial

The 2012-2014 Bicentennial of the War of 1812 will mark the 200th anniversary of significant military activity in Hamilton. The City of Hamilton will mark the War of 1812 Bicentennial with commemorative events and activities. Visit this site often for event information.
