Public Use Indoor Recreation Facility Renovation and Replacement Study
In September 2008, the City of Hamilton completed an 18 month study of its indoor recreation facilities. The final report and recommendations can be found at this link.
Renovation and Expansion ProjectsThe City of Hamilton has received funding through the Federal Recreational Infrastructure Canada (RinC) program and the Infrastructure Stimulus Fund (ISF). Matching Federal, Provincial and City funds provides a total investment of $51.75 million to be spent on recreation facilities over the next year and a half.
