City of Hamilton
Recreation Facility Renewal Program
The City of Hamilton in cooperation with the federal and provincial governments are pleased to receive infrastructure funding to improve several city-operated recreation centres, pools and arenas over the next year which will improve services for residents. Our goal is to maintain service with the least possible disruption to the public.
The table below presents facilities that may be closed for a period of time. Recreation programs may be moved to other locations to accommodate user activities. Updates on program location changes will be provided.

A new, fully accessible outdoor pool and pool change house will be constructed on the site of the existing Coronation outdoor pool.

The new heated pool will feature water spray features, sun shelters and beach entry.
