Routes 1 KING & 10 B-LINE Westbound will be on detour due to road closure on King St. from Gage Ave. to John St. for the Open Streets event. Detour details, including a list of closed stops, temporary stops, and a detour map, can be found below.

Detour Details:

Route 1 King & 10 B-Line Westbound

• Buses heading downtown are on detour from King Street at Gage Avenue - turn right on Gage Avenue, left on Cannon Street, left on John Street, right on King Street and resume regular routing on King Street west of John Street.

Routes 2 Barton, 3 Cannon, 4 Bayfront and 20 A Line will be on detour on the second Friday of each month from 5 pm to 11 pm. This is due to a road closure on James Street; York Boulevard/Wilson Street to Murray Street for Art Crawl.

Route 2 Barton - Westbound

• Buses will detour from Barton at John, turning left on John Street, right on Rebecca Street, and left on James Street to resume the regular route south of Rebecca.

Route 3 Cannon - Westbound

• Buses will detour from Cannon at John, turning left on John Street, right on Rebecca Street, and left on James Street to resume the regular route south of Rebecca.

Route 4 Bayfront

• Eastbound buses will continue north on MacNab Street from Murray Street, then turn right on Strachan Street and left on James Street to resume the regular route north of Strachan.
• Westbound buses will detour from James at Strachan, turning left on Strachan Street, right on John Street, right on Rebecca Street, and left on James Street to resume the regular route south of Rebecca.

Route 20 A-Line

• Northbound buses will detour from James at Main, turning right on Main Street, left on John Street, left on Strachan Street, and right on James Street to resume the regular route north of Strachan.
• Southbound buses will detour from James at Strachan, turning left on Strachan Street, right on John Street, right on Rebecca Street, and left on James Street to resume the regular route south of Rebecca.

There will be a road closure on Wilson Street from Wentworth Street to Sanford Avenue from June 12 to August 15 at approx. 6pm. As a result, Route 3 Cannon Eastbound will be on detour. Detour details and a detour map, can be found below.

Route 3 Cannon:

EASTBOUND TO REID & DUNSMURE - From Wilson Street and Wentworth Street:

• Right on Wentworth Street
• Left on Main Street
• Left on Sherman Avenue
• Right on Cannon Street east of Sherman Avenue.

 WESTBOUND TO DOWNTOWN – No detour required. 

Due to construction, Route 11 Parkdale will be on detour, Wednesday, July 23, 2025, at 7 am until Thursday, July 24, 2025, at 6 am. Detour details, including a list of closed stops and detour maps, can be found below.

Detour Details: Route 11 Parkdale

• Southbound To Valley Park (End-of-Line) – From Parkdale Avenue and Dunsmure Road, right on Dunsmure Road, left on Walter Avenue, left on Queenston Road, right on Parkdale Avenue and resume regular southbound routing.
• Northbound to Burlington Terminal – From Parkdale Avenue and Queenston Road, left on Queenston Road, right on Craigroyston Road and continue north on Tolton Avenue, right on Dunsmure Road, left on Parkdale Avenue and resume regular northbound routing. Stop closures and temporary stop locations:

Eastbound (To The Meadowlands) - From Fiddlers Green Road and Garden Avenue

• Resume regular AM Routing to The Meadowlands.

Westbound (To Wilson & Garner End-of-Line) – No Detour Required.

Route 16 Ancaster (PM Routing Only)

Westbound (To Wilson & Garner End-of-Line) – From Fiddlers Green Road and Garden Avenue

Route 44 Rymal

Due to construction, Route 23 Upper Gage will be on detour, Monday, July 14, 2025, from 4 am until Tuesday, July 22, 2025, at 6 am. 

Detour Details: Route 23 Upper Gage

• SOUTHBOUND (From Downtown) - From Concession Street and East 38th Street – right on East 38th Street, left on Crockett Street, right on Upper Gage Avenue and resume regular southbound routing.
• NORTHBOUND (To Downtown) – From Upper Gage Avenue and Crockett Street, left on Crockett Street, right on East 39th Street, left on Concession Street and resume regular northbound routing.

Due to construction, Route 41 Mohawk will be on detour, Monday, July 14, 2025, from am until Tuesday, July 22, 2025, at 6 pm. 

Detour Details: Route 41 Mohawk

• NORTHBOUNDTO INDUSTRIAL & GAGE - From Upper Ottawa and Queensdale Avenue, left on Queensdale Avenue, right on Upper Gage Avenue, left on Crockett Street, right on The Sherman Cut, right on the Sherman Access and continue on the Kenilworth Access and resume regular northbound routing on the Kenilworth Access east of the Sherman Access. 
• SOUTHBOUND TO THE MEADOWLANDS – From the Kenilworth Access and the Sherman Access, continue west on the Sherman Access, left on The Sherman Cut, left on Crockett Street, right on Upper Gage Avenue, left on Queensdale Avenue, right on Upper Ottawa Street and resume regular southbound routing on Upper Ottawa Street south of Queensdale Avenue.
