The City of Hamilton owns and operates two long-term care homes, Macassa Lodge and Wentworth Lodge.
Macassa Lodge
Macassa Lodge is situated in a residential neighbourhood on Hamilton's east mountain. Macassa Lodge is well serviced by a bus route providing easy access to and from most areas of the City.

Wentworth Lodge
Wentworth Lodge is nestled in the picturesque Dundas area of Hamilton. It is currently undergoing renovations to rebuild the original sections of the building and to improve upon several of the existing facilities. Wentworth Lodge currently has 147 beds - but will be expanded to hold 160 beds upon completion of its renovations in 2005.
