Bike to Work "GEAR UP" Event
Time: 7:00 am to 11:00 am
Location: Various sites in the city to Gore Park at 8:15 am
Get ready for the Commuter Challenge by biking to work to create awareness for the week of events that begins on June 1 to June 5, 2009. Cyclists are encourage to meet at various locations throughout the city and then bike to Gore Park where refreshments and Smart Commute Prizes will be provided.

Time: 11:30 am to 1:30 pm
Location: Gore Park
Learn about sustainable living, commuting and green products with showcases from local Hamilton businesses and organizations. A sampling of healthy snacks will be available.

Walk to Work Day
Walk to work, log in your time on the commuter challenge website and potentially win a prize! If you walk to work today, email the Commuter Challenge Coordinating Team at smartcommute@hamilton.ca and you will be entered into a draw for fabulous walking-related prizes including step-counters, water bottles and t-shirts.
MASS WALK
Time: 12:00 pm (walk begins at 12:15)
Location: Gore Park
Join your fellow workmates downtown at Gore Park to walk 1.2 Km in order to raise awareness for the benefits of walking. At the end of your walk you will be greeted with refreshments, healthy snacks, interesting displays and new friends on the Jackson Square Rooftop!
