Food Access Guide 2012 - Snapshot

This advisory sub-committee of the Board of Health was formed in June 2008 to move Hamilton towards food security.

Community Food Security is defined as "a situation in which all community residents obtain a safe, culturally acceptable, nutritionally adequate diet through a sustainable food system that maximizes self-reliance and social justice."
