Seasonal and H1N1 Influenza Immunizations

Each summer, external agencies are invited to pre-qualify with the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care to administer seasonal influenza vaccine at workplace clinics.

Agencies who have prequalified to administer seasonal influenza vaccine will be notified by the ministry. Please call Public Health Services at (905) 545-2424 ext 5910, if you require confirmation of approval.

Seasonal influenza vaccine is available to the general public through immunization clinics offered by approved Vaccine Delivery Agencies at workplaces and pharmacies. 

Workplaces and organizations who wish to hold an influenza immunization clinic should contact an approved Vaccine Delivery Agent (i.e. Nursing Agency) to discuss the process.

Organizations who would like to be included on the email distribution list, to receive a Prequalification Package for the Universal Influenza Immunization Program (UIIP), should email their request to UIIP.MOH@ontario.ca, attention UIIP coordinator.
