Nutrition for After-School Programs
After-School Programs provide an opportunity for children and youth to hearn about and practice healthy eating behaviours. Program providers can support the long term health of their students by providing healthy snacks, delivering nutrition lessons, organizing hands-on activities with healthy food, refraining from using food as a reward, and role modeling healthy eating behaviours.
