Waterdown Clinic - Sexual Health

The City of Hamilton provides confidential sexual health services to females and males by physician, nurse practitioner and public health nurses. Testing for sexually transmitted infections and HIV available (please do not empty your bladder for 2 hours prior to your visit. A urine test may be required). The physician/nurse practitioner may need to complete a PAP test. You will be asked to show your health card if having a Pap test. Low cost birth control is limited to clients age 19 and under. Clients aged 20 and older who are in financial need may be eligible for low cost birth control. View the full list of Sexual Health Clinics.

Effective October 5, 2012: Rapid Hiv testing also known as Point of Care is not currently available at this site.

** NOTE: There will no longer be a physician or nurse practitioner at the Waterdown Clinic. All services but physical examinations will continue to be provided. Physical examinations will be scheduled at our Dundas clinic. Taxi fare to the Dundas Office will be provided upon request for clients who do not have transportation.
