* Colour Scheme of Blue, White and Pink is used for the first three application rounds per season since 2007. A dot on the city street catch basins indicates treatment each round. This colour scheme matches most surrounding or Greater Toronto health units such as Halton, Niagara and Peel.

** Green dot used to indicate fourth round; however for 2011 the green dot indicates catch basin re-treatment. Public Works is conducting a catch basin cleaning program of all city street catch basins in co-operation with the treatment program. A red dot of paint indicates a catch basin was cleaned. A green dot will indicate re-treatment if re-treatment was required following cleaning.

*** For 2011 a fourth application round was added for increased control based on the rise of positive mosquito results this season. A dot of orange on the catch basins indicates the fourth round of treatment.
