The City of Hamilton has begun its 2010 budget process and will be passing the associated By-laws.
The Council of the City of Hamilton intends to approve the 2010 Tax Operating Budget at the Special Council meeting scheduled for February 23, 2010, or at a later Council meeting if budget deliberations are deferred.
Over the following months, further meetings will be held to discuss the 2010 budget including user fees and charges. Information with respect to dates, times, locations and agendas of these meetings can be found as follows:
