Update: Claremont Access
One downbound lane remains closed on the Claremont Access as Public Works crews continue to remove debris and perform remedial work. The lane is expected to remain closed until early June.
A longer-term strategy is in the works for all the escarpment bin walls. Instead of looking at the Claremont Access issue in isolation, Public Works will be carefully inspecting all the escarpment bin walls to identify long-term solutions for repair and/or replacement. Options and associated costs will be presented to Council when the review is complete.
More updates will be provided as new information becomes available.
