HAMILTON, ON –August 15, 2005 – Saturday Art classes are now available at the Hamilton Children’s Museum for children three to 12 years old. There are five and eight week programmes to choose from. Children are introduced to a variety of media and materials in a fun and friendly atmosphere that allows self discovery and expression.
Kinder Art is for three to five year olds and will run Saturday, Sept. 10 to Saturday, Oct. 8, 2005 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. The cost is $30.00 per child and children must be accompanied by an adult.
Art Fundamental is for children nine to 12 years old and runs Saturday, Sept. 10 to Saturday, Oct. 8, 2005 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The cost is $30 per child.
The Mural Project is an eight week programme for children six to 12 years old. Participants will be guided through the process of creating a mural from a blank canvas to a work of art. The finished mural will hang at the Hamilton Children’s Museum. This programme runs Saturday, Sept. 10 to Saturday, Oct. 29, 2005 and the cost is $65.00 per child.
Pre-registration and pre-payment is required for all programmes.
