Missing Medications Located

HAMILTON, ON –  January 5, 2005  –  Hamilton Emergency Services is pleased to report that the missing black nylon pouch containing small vials of Morphine and Valium reported missing earlier today have been located.  A driver making a delivery at the Victoria Avenue North EMS station at approximately 4:00 p.m. this afternoon spotted the pouch in the station’s parking lot and passed it on to EMS supervisory staff.

Hamilton Emergency Services issued a public alert due to the concern for public safety. These types of medications can be harmful if swallowed or injected, and are particularly dangerous to young children. 

Hamilton Emergency Services and the Hamilton Police Service thank the media and the public for their assistance and diligence.
