Hamilton, ON – May 19, 2006 – The Hamilton Public Library has joined the Public Works department in its celebration of National Public Works Week, May 21 – 27. A historic display has been created and will be available for the public to view.
The Hamilton Public Library is displaying various books, resources, maps, archival records and a history of Public Works in Hamilton. Annual reports dating back to 1898; waterworks reports including alternative plans that were not implemented when the pump house was built in 1860; Lloyd Bloom’s collection of progress shots of various city projects; to name a few.

WHEN: Tuesday, May 23 to Thursday, May 25 – 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Monday, Wednesday and Friday, Weekdays - 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Saturday, May 27 - 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
