HAMILTON, ON – May 19, 2006 – The City of Hamilton is pleased to invite you to kick-off the celebration of National Public Works Week. Churchill Park Community Gardens will host the 2006 season opening of Hamilton Community Gardens. Make sure you have your green thumb handy so you can learn how to become involved in community gardening. Come out and meet your fellow gardeners, and find out about the new initiatives in the Community Garden Program. Join us for a live gardening demonstration by the Hamilton Urban Growers at 9:45 a.m. This event is guaranteed to bring out the gardener in you.
