Free compost!~ with food donation ~

HAMILTON , ON – May 25, 2006 – Another National Public Works Week event! Do you need compost for your trees, plants and gardens? Bring a food donation and take away compost made from 2005 leaf and yard waste material collected at your curb. Compost will be available on Saturday, May 27, 2006 at 8:00 a.m. while quantities last.

Bagged compost will be available at:

Mountain Community Recycling Centre
37 Kilbride Road, Hamilton

Bulk compost will be available at:

Rymal Public Works Yard                                           Bayfront Park
308 Rymal Road East                                                 (off Bay Street South)

Bring your own shovel and container for bulk compost.

These events are brought to you by the City of Hamilton’s Public Works Department and our community partners, - St. Matthew’s House, Neighbour to Neighbour and the Roxborough Centre.
