May 25, 2006 – Public Works in its efforts to heighten public awareness on water issues, is pleased to have formed a partnership with EcoHouse to inform the public of wise water usage. The public is invited to learn about healthy lawns, rain gardens and proper water use in residential areas. They will also host a workshop focusing on wise water use for residential retrofits. Pre-registration is required in order to take part in the workshop. Workshop fees are $5.00 per person, proceeds to Green Venture. Register at 905-546-CITY (2489).
