WE’RE RENOVATING!

Construction work is ongoing to revitalize the Central Library and Hamilton Farmers’ Market. One of the major design elements - the new glazed curtain wall - was recently installed and provides the Library and Market with its new "glass box" shape and exterior facade. Now that the glass wall is in place the building is weather-tight, allowing the remaining interior works to commence.
The renovations of these facilities began in May 2009 and the work is proceeding on time towards completion in Fall 2010.
Hamilton Farmers’ Market – WE’VE MOVED!
The Market re-opened for business in April 2009 in its temporary location inside Jackson Square. It will remain there until the renovations are complete (Fall 2010). All stallholders are operating, and the hours are the same: Tues & Thurs. 7-6, Fri. 8-6 and Sat. 6-6.
