Tips for Residents

Once the project begins, parking and stopping along the affected streets will not be allowed. If you or your visitors park on James, John or Charlton, begin looking for alternate parking arrangements.

HSR routes will not be altered. Consider taking public transit around the City.

We are not aware of any changes to the date or the times of waste and recycling collections either during or after the construction and two-way conversion has been completed. Any changes will be posted and the public notified as the information becomes available. Be sure to have your waste and recycling on the curb by 7:00 a.m. on your regular collection day.

Use caution around areas of construction. For your own safety, obey all signs redirecting traffic or pedestrians.

Even during the preparation phase, pedestrians should exercise caution when crossing a street and always look both ways.
