myhamilton.ca is a comprehensive source of information for the more than 500,000
people who live, work and play in Hamilton. The portal (or super-site) will feature:
- a community calendar of events
- collaboration space to meet, share and discuss information on-line
- customized city maps and information tools
- the information you need about arts, sports & recreation, business,
government services, community organizations, education & careers,
health & environment, library services and tourism in Hamilton
- an "all-in-one" search tool
- on-line access to municipal services
This myhamilton.ca portal is a collaborative effort of more than 16
community partners from the public, private and non-profit sector.
Together, these partners have built a site that brings community
and technology together.
The project team is committed to delivering convenient access to
local services and community events. Hamiltonians will benefit
from personal time and money saved with round-the-clock, on-demand
delivery of local information. Hamilton will be the 9th portal
