Bus Stop Changes
Effective August 31, 2025, these bus stop changes will be in effect. Watch for signs posted at the affected stops.
Route 33 Sanatorium
Changes from Sanatorium Road to Scenic Drive, in both directions.

Detour of Routes 3 - Cannon for construction until further notice
Route 3 - Cannon
- Eastbound - From Wilson St and Victoria Avenue, Left on Victoria Avenue, Right on Barton Street, Right on Birch Avenue, Left on Wilson Street and resume regular eastbound routing on Wilson Street east of Birch Avenue.

Detour of Routes 4 - Bayfront and 6 - Aberdeen for Boxing Day Runs
On Friday, December 26, 2025, Route 4 - Bayfront and 6 - Aberdeen will be on detour from 12 pm until 2:30 pm due to the Boxing Day Runs event.
Detour details, including a list of out of service stops, temporary stops, and detour maps, can be found below.
Detour Details
Route 4 Bayfront (Eastbound only) – Buses will detour as follows:
- From MacNab Street and Murray Street, the bus will proceed north on MacNab Street
- turning right on Strachan Street
- left on James Street and resume regular routing.
Route 6 Aberdeen – Buses will detour as follows:
- Eastbound: From Macklin Street north of King Street (the MACKLIN at GLEN bus stop), the bus will turn right on King Street and resume regular routing.
- Westbound: From Longwood Road at Glen Road, the bus will turn right on Glen Road, and turn right on Macklin Street north of King Street (the MACKLIN at GLEN bus stop).

On weekdays from Thursday, November 27, 2025 through Friday, December 5, 2025, Route 8 York Westbound will be on detour daily from 8:30 am until 3:20 pm due to a Special Event on Lamoreaux Street.

Route 11 Parkdale – Northbound to Burlington Terminal
- From Parkdale Avenue and Barton Street, turn right on Barton Street left on Woodward Avenue, left on Brampton Street, right on Parkdale Avenue, and resume regular northbound routing on Parkdale Avenue north of Brampton Street.
Route 11 Parkdale – Southbound to Valley Park
- From Parkdale Avenue and Brampton Street, turn left on Brampton Street, right on Woodward Avenue, right on Barton Street, left on Parkdale Avenue, and resume regular southbound routing on Parkdale Avenue south of Barton Street.

Detour of Route 18 - Waterdown for Lot Access Agreement
Route 18 Waterdown Mountaineer will detour as it travels to and from the Flamborough South Centre, August 31 until further notice.
Northbound to Flamborough South Centre: When travelling to Walmart, the bus will continue on Clappison Avenue, turning right on Dundas Street East, left on Leavitt Boulevard, left into Flamborough South Centre, right on the first internal road, proceed around Staples, and stop at stop #1879 at Walmart.
Southbound to Aldershot GO: From stop #1879 at Walmart, the bus will turn left at from the stop, right on the first internal road, left on the next internal road, right on Leavitt Boulevard, right on Dundas Street East, and left on Clappison Avenue where it will continue regular route.
Transit staff and property manager are working on an access agreement to allow HSR bus travel through the lot.

Detour of Route 18 - Waterdown Mountaineer for Flamborough Santa Claus Parade
On Saturday, November 29, 2025, Route 18 Waterdown Mountaineer will be on detour and myRide On-Demand will be suspended from 4 pm until 10:30 pm due to the Flamborough Santa Claus Parade.
Detour Details
Route 18 Waterdown Mountaineer – Buses will detour as follows:
- Eastern Detour (Heading Northbound): From Aldershot GO Station Platform 10 the bus will turn left on Alayne Bryk Way, then right on Waterdown Road. The bus will turn right on Mountain Brow Road, continue on Burke Street, turning left on Dundas Street. The bus will turn right on First Street, right again on Niska Drive, then it will turn left on Boulding Avenue. The bus will turn right on Parkside Drive and right on Avonsyde Boulevard.
- Eastern Detour (Heading Southbound): From Avonsyde Boulevard at Dundas Street, the bus will turn right on Dundas Street, left on Burke Street, and it will continue on Mountain Brow Road. The bus will turn left on Waterdown Road, left on Alayne Bryk Way and proceed to Aldershot GO station Platform 10.
- Western Detour (Heading Northbound): From Aldershot GO Station Platform 10, the bus will turn left on Alayne Bryk Way and right on Waterdown Road. The bus will turn left onto Highway 403 westbound, exiting at Highway 6 northbound. The bus will turn right on Dundas Street, right on Leavitt Boulevard and then turn left. At the stop sign, the bus will turn right and continue to the bus stop on the west side of Walmart.
- From the bus stop on the west side of Walmart - At the stop sign, the bus will turn right and then make a left. The bus will turn right on Leavitt Boulevard, right on Dundas Street, turn left on Clappison Avenue, turn right on Parkside Drive, and then turn right on Braeheid Avenue. The bus will turn right on Riley Street, right on Dundas Street, turn left on Leavitt Boulevard, and make a left turn. At the stop sign, the bus will turn right and continue to the bus stop on the west side of Walmart.
- Western Detour (Heading Southbound): From the bus stop on the west side of Walmart - At the stop sign, the bus will turn right and then make a left. The bus will turn right on Leavitt Boulevard, left on Dundas Street, and it will turn left onto Highway 6 towards Highway 403 QEW eastbound. The bus will exit at Waterdown Road and continue to Alayne Bryk Way and will proceed to Aldershot GO station Platform 10.
