The RHVP is being resurfaced on both sides between the Queen Elizabeth Way and the Lincoln M. Alexander Parkway. In addition to new high quality asphalt, the RHVP resurfacing project will bring additional safety enhancements to the parkway, including 10 km of new steel guardrails with reflectors, bright durable lane markings, rumble strips, and more.
All lanes resurfacing has been completed.
The final phase of the resurfacing project will begin on Thursday, July 11. The work on the ramps should take approximately two weeks, weather permitting.
Specifically, ramp closures will include:
- Ramp from Mud St to westbound Lincoln M. Alexander Parkway
- Ramp from the Upper Red Hill Valley Parkway to westbound Lincoln M. Alexander Parkway
- Ramp from the Upper Red Hill Valley Parkway to the northbound RHVP
