CARF survey team to visit Macassa & Wentworth Lodges
A survey team from CARF International will be visiting Macassa & Wentworth Lodges Thursday, August 17 & Friday August 18, 2023
CARF (Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities) is a voluntary process whereby a health care provider measures itself against international standards of care and service. Surveyors have been invited to evaluate how well the Lodges meet rigorous standards for quality. The survey will tell us what we are doing well and ways to improve care and services for our residents.
As part of the on-site survey, the survey team will tour both Lodges, interview residents, their families, our staff, and community partners. Surveyors will also review documents, health records, and perform observations during meal service and medication pass.
The goal of the Lodges is to sustain our three-year accreditation award. If you would like to learn more about the CARF accreditation process, please contact the Manager of Quality Improvement and Privacy at Macassa or Wentworth Lodge. You may also contact CARF International directly.
CARF International is a group of companies that includes CARF, CARF Canada, and CARF Europe.
