Doors Open: Dundurn National Historic Site

Experience a self-guided visit of this Italianate-style villa built in 1834 by Sir Allan MacNab, one of Canada's first premiers. Enjoy hands-on activities led by costumed staff stationed throughout the home, explore the rarely opened Cock Pit building, and drop by the 2-acre Kitchen Garden for some spring gardening tips.

Make sure to leave some extra time to engage in hands-on activities at The Hamilton Military Museum located in the former gate house. 

Parking is limited, visitors are encouraged to take public transit or other modes of transportation to the site.
