Participants will enjoy a hands-on cooking workshop of some traditional pumpkin recipes and their spices while learning about the history of this fall favourite vegetable.
There’s a curious and interesting history behind this iconic vegetable which started long before the flavoured latte craze. As a magical golden carriage for Cinderella to a jack-o-lantern for Halloween, the image of a round orange pumpkin is a nostalgic draw that can represent a serene and authentic farm life. All participants will take home a recipe booklet and a free pass to the museum.
