This holiday break, the Hamilton Museum of Steam & Technology is hosting a free, drop-in activity centre all about Victorian toy making. In the 19th century, many children’s toys would be hand-made of commonly found materials like wood and string – no batteries, blinking lights, or computers in sight. Try out some classic Victorian toys, learn about how toys were made in the past, and make your own keepsake toys and crafts to take home.
For 3 years & older. Adult supervision is required in the activity centre.
The museum is closed on Mondays.
This is a free event. Regular museum admission rates apply.
