10 pm Fireworks accompanied live by Maestro Boris Brott and the National Academy Orchestra of Canada

Proudly presented by the City of Hamilton & RBC

Enjoy food trucks, family-friendly fun, and a spectacular live music line-up presented by RBC featuring Canadian artists Jully Black, Steve Strongman and Sarah Slean. The celebration will conclude with a dazzling fireworks finale, set to an orchestral arrangement performed live by Maestro Boris Brott and the National Academy Orchestra of Canada.

  • RBC 150 Celebration Zone – play interactive games with a chance to win some cool prizes.  Meet Canadian Summer and Winter Olympians from 1-5pm.

Pier 4 Park - Family Zone

  • The Rubbily Ubdugs puppeteers perform "Wow What a Country" at 5, 6 and 7 pm
  • Hamilton Public Library Bookmobile and Story Walk 3 to 8 pm
  • Colour a huge Canada 150 themed mural
  • Meet Leo the Lion, roaming Pier 4
  • Tugboat Playground with splash pad & lookout pier with protected sun shelter

Some sections of the bicycle path around Bayfront Park will be closed to the public from 7am Friday, June 30 to 2pm Sunday, July 2 for fireworks set-up and removal.

A free all-Canadian live music line up to celebrate Canada 150!  Presented by RBC. Enjoy a special ‘made in Hamilton’ Canada Day soundtrack arranged by Supercrawl Productions between live performances, featuring music from a variety of local labels.

Enjoy a huge selection of Ontario’s finest food trucks serving up BBQ, Greek specialties, tacos, grilled cheese, hot dogs, ice cream and more at Bayfront and Pier 4 parks from 3 to 10pm. Some trucks will open at noon.
