Remembrance Day Services

The City of Hamilton Remembrance Day Service will take place on Thursday November 11, 2021 at the Gore Park cenotaph, beginning at 10:30 am. Participation will be by invitation only. The general public is invited to view the service by tuning into the live broadcast on Cable-14 or on the City’s Youtube channel. https://www.youtube.com/user/InsideCityofHamilton

Citizens and groups wishing to have a wreath laid at the cenotaph are required to deliver their wreaths before November 11 to the Hamilton Military Museum, 610 York Blvd, and the wreaths will be placed at the cenotaph on their behalf by members of the Hamilton Veterans Committee during the service. Please contact 905-973-4005 for more information.

Following guidance from the Canadian Armed Forces, the Hamilton Veterans Committee has recommended to City Council that the 14 November Garrison Parade be cancelled due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. The Garrison parade will not be held this year.
