Merging Citizen Dashboard with Open Hamilton

The Citizen Dashboard is in the process of being converted into an Open Data format, linking the Citizen Dashboard with Open Hamilton.  During this conversion, the data on the Citizen Dashboard will not be updated quarterly, resulting in some data being out of date.  The conversion is underway and is expected to be fully completed by June 2019.

Importance


Working smoke alarms provide the earliest warning of a fire in the home and give residents the necessary time to evacuate safely.

Story behind the numbers


Many homeowners, who because of age, physical limitations or affordability have difficulty in purchasing and installing smoke alarms in their home. This program provides assistance to those homeowners with early detection in their home.

Performance improvements


This program increases the number of homes in the City that are in compliance with Ontario Fire Code requirements.
