Story behind the numbers

The current emergency operational response target is 100% within 48 hours of notification. This indicator is influenced by seasonality (construction events), external service levels and other factors such as inclement weather. In Q3 2018, the ability of Hamilton Water to satisfy emergency response requests was 100 % within the timeframe.

Performance improvements

In Hamilton Water, we continuously review our operational practices and methodologies for effective response to system inquiries. Our workforce operates with the required licensing and training.  Indicators are in place to assess system risks and ensure that appropriate action is taken to support the needs of the community.
