On-time Service


HSR customers rely on public transit to get them to school, work, appointments and activities on time. Maintaining a high on-time performance rate means that HSR is providing a reliable service to the community.

Story behind the numbers

Reliability is important to the HSR, however traffic congestion, traffic accidents, medical emergencies, construction and the weather can all contribute to delays. In 2017, service was provided on-time 84% of the time.

Performance improvements

The HSR has a goal of 90% in regards to delivering on-time service. Improvements are determined through route monitoring, traffic pattern analysis, route schedule reviews, annual service reviews, improvements in technology, employee engagement, and proactive vehicle maintenance.
