Understanding the top causes of commercial/industrial structure fires in each ward is an essential component in learning how to prevent those fires from occurring.
Story behind the numbers
Commercial businesses and properties are important to the local economy and working collaboratively will assist in reducing the numbers of incidents of fire and the resulting impact on the community.
In order to take steps to reduce the number of commercial structure fires, the HFD are partnering with our commercial/ industrial businesses and work collectively in reducing the incidents of fire through fire prevention initiatives, public education and pre-fire planning.
